Amaya and Sophie (hereinafter referred to as ‘we’) bring you APS as a theatrical question.
Through imperfect writing on a confessional screen, pop talismans from the 90s and a trapeze where we still don’t know if we both fit, we share with the audience (from now on, you) these questions that concern us:
Can tenderness help us mend some of the cracks and fractures of contemporary life? Can digital space bring us closer together?
COMPANY
KET o un hábitat propio is an emerging contemporary circus company created by Sophie Núñez and Amaya Goñi in 2020. In our stage research, we use the trapeze as our main element. The aim is to study the wide range of dramatic possibilities offered by this apparatus, from its more classic acrobatic use to its more experimental, decontextualised, unexpected and strange potential. On a philosophical and contextual level, we feel immersed in a maelstrom of change, uncertainty and injustice that generates a barrage of unresolved questions. We want to use the stage to reflect on these questions as a collective and share our doubts and observations with the audience.
