Expanded circus performance conference.
A weaving of ancient and contemporary technologies, multi-species kinship, and cross-border poetics between Uruguay, Peru, Brazil, and Catalonia in the celebration of the tenth anniversary of Plataforma Clo. A fluid genre between scene and glandular activation practices in the distance, another attempt to move the human from the center. Physical and visual situations and instructions invite the audience to conspire possible horizons and engage in small practices to breathe as a swarm in times of global turmoil.
What if human aspirations are irreparable?
What if all we can do is breathe together?
As part of the celebration of the tenth anniversary of the CLO Platform, the community gathered for this project is made up of artists, machines, technologies, and knowledge from this and other times.
Located from the global south and in the field of the expanded scene. Weaving cross-border poetics and oblique, deviant, queer dramaturgies (Latin American adaptation of the English word queer). Create ch’ixi communities, as Cusicanqui says, where we do not seek the homogenization of colonial mestizaje, but rather an affirmation from difference.
CLO’s curatorial line promotes intersectionality. Find living arts in diverse ecosystems.
