Video presentation La Electus

Lorenza is a humble, hard-working woman with a beautiful but underappreciated job: she sweeps the city streets and dedicates herself to leaving them spotless, while sharing a little piece of her world with the public.

All the objects that accompany her have been collected from the rubbish, and she treasures them as if they were gifts that life — or some fairy — has given her. One day, in the midst of his daily routine, he receives an unexpected visit from the Holy Spirit. This event will transform her life and confront her with difficult situations that she will have to face without really knowing how.

‘La Electus’ is a work created in the language of clowning, which navigates a comical, poetic and everyday story. She takes the viewer on an emotional journey, addressing complex issues such as humanity, poverty, loneliness, femininity, war, motherhood, abandonment, migration, and the tenacity needed to embrace the complexities of life.
