Pyrene as a transformative and cross-border place, as a place we inhabit and that inhabits us, a place we want to explore in this project, from the perspective of its sustainability.

This project explores vertical language, paying homage to mountains as feminine energy, as a place of strength, a place that is magnificent, harsh, wild, but also wonderful. A safe space for the sustainability of the planet.

The cast of the play has a background in climbing and has somehow been linked to these areas, generating a passion for these natural spaces.

Gloria Peón Torre is the director of LaGlo Zirko and Dantzaka, a circus artist and aerial acrobat. She co-founded her first circus company, Azulkillas, in 2005, and ten years later, in 2015, she founded the first vertical dance company in the Basque Country.

In recent years, she has devoted her artistic career to vertical dance, without abandoning the circus but focusing heavily on this discipline, where she has found her new passion. Thus, in recent years, he has directed, created, produced, and choreographed three vertical dance shows, which have toured various national and international festivals, several site-specific performances, and various vertical dance creations.
